I first became interested in digital garments after learning about their potential to curb waste produced by a linear, fast fashion economy. I personally wanted to explore how the aesthetic aspects of fashion might be enjoyed without depleting raw resources. The process of simulating digital fabric and art-directing the results was liberating: I got to take an abundance of design risks without worrying about fabrication logistics or material waste.
