I am a technical artist and HCI researcher pursuing PhD studies at Cornell University. I develop expressive systems inspired by the pursuit of artistic flow. I believe that our ability to experience sustained, embodied immersion is one of the most beautiful aspects of the human experience.

I have had the pleasure of working at Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm and The University of Tokyo. My research has been generously supported by the Stamps President's Scholarship and the NSF-IRES program.

I express gratitude for the village of mentors who have shaped my path thus far: Takeo Igarashi, Maria Larsson, Doğa Doğan, Alyssa Minko, Michael Frederickson, Steve Biegun and Cassandra Monden among many others

I also like to bike and nap in the sun.
